Baskerville House in Birmingham carries a rich architectural legacy — a 1930s Grade II listed landmark built on the former site of John Baskerville’s home. Designed by T. Cecil Howitt and faced in Portland stone, it remains one of the West Midlands’ most recognisable examples of civic neoclassical architecture.

Our CGI for Oktra visualised the reception concept for Federated Hermes, where subtle lighting and natural textures emphasised the building’s historic rhythm. We aimed to preserve its sense of monumentality while introducing a softer, more welcoming atmosphere.

The challenge lay in showing how a listed structure can support the flexibility and lightness of today’s workplace standards.

For Visioaxis, it was a study in subtlety: illustrating how heritage architecture can be reinterpreted through CGI — capturing the balance between restoration and contemporary workplace design.

For commercial design and build teams working across multiple disciplines and suppliers, high-end 3D visualization helps bring consistency and clarity across stages—whether for client presentations, sign-offs, or internal alignment. At Visioaxis, we help illustrate these shared design intentions clearly and faithfully, contributing to smooth execution and confident decision-making.
